Kuwait Civil ID information

Civil ID is a key instrument to be carried with you all the time while in Kuwait. Information in the Civil ID includes the validity of your stay, expiry date, your sponsor details etc… Some information you should know about Kuwait Civil ID includes the following.

  • Civil ID is issued by PACI (Public Authority of Civil Information) in Kuwait
  • Civil ID validity duration is equal to the residency validity
  • A key identification document / card in any government offices and will request copies of the same in cases where you need to get things done at many offices

You need to apply for Civil ID by preparing the application forms and submitting it at the PACI office. The application is needed only for the first time for renewal, it is online or over the phone.

Finally, India card Rupay to replace Visa, MasterCard

After almost two years of planning, the National Payments Corporation has at last finalised the proposed unique India Card which once commercially launched would be an domestic alternative to the global real-time payment processing firms like Visa and MasterCard .

"We have finalised name of the proposed card as Rupay at our board meeting here today. We have also finalised the logo for the same," a senior official of the RBI-set up National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), told media this evening. The official sought not to be named.

The official further said the leading financial consultancy firm Ernst & Young(E&Y) will develop and roll out the entire architecture, including the design and software for the Rupay card rollout.

Kalanjali - Carnival 2011

We are pleased to inform you that Kalanjali Kuwait an Indian Embassy registered cultural organization will be organizing Kalanjali Carnival 2011 (A full day event) on 1st April 2011, in Indian Community School – Khaitan Branch

There will be many competitions - including Dance Competition, Rangoli Competition, Salad Cutting Competition and Preliminary of Sa Re Ga Ma -  Voice of Kalanjali 2011 as well as programs presented by different Indian Cultural Associations.  

Sri Suman, well known South Indian film star and Sri Raghu, well known South Indian Choreographer will be judging the Dance Competition.

Sri Ramesh, well known mimicry artiste will entertain the audience. Sri Ramesh, is a senior mimicry artiste for Sakshi TV, Hyderabad and has performed all over India.
