To get the driving license in Kuwait the following conditions should be met by the individuals applying for the Kuwait Driving License
1. Be a resident of Kuwait for a period of 2 years prior to the application.
2. Hold a university degree.
3. Earn a minimum salary of KD 400

Doctors
Professors
Teachers
Nursing Staff
Translators and interpreters
Accountants
Managers
Counsellors
Journalits
Company Heads
University Students
Teaching Staff
Engineers
All diplomatic staff
Hi, I'm an Asian expat & applied for a driving license. I had met all the needed requirements & was given an Estimara. I had passed the wriiten exam & driving test. When I went to Traffic Dept. in Jabriya to issue my professional driving license as a final step, they asked me to go to Higher Education for Evaluation of my university certificate though my university certificate had been already authenticated from both Ministry of Justice & Foreign Affairs, noting that I just had also renewed my residency with a Manager position which requires also a University degree as per Kwt Immigration Law. When I went to Higher Education, they told me that such step is not required as they only evaluate certificates for people who will work as a Teacher or continue studying for MBA. But the guy who is receiving the paper in Traffic Dept insisted that I need to secure the Evaluation fron the Higher Education or else I will not receive my professional driving license. Please advise on what I will do, as I am worried that they are just making it only harder to me because I am a lady & an Asian nationality.
May be they are looking for vasta or something else... I have taken the license recently and did not face any such requirement. I have taken this from Jabriya...
